A lovely hotel only 3 minutes walk from the beach, and as an Australian, the beach is where I like to be :-) The hotel is lovely. Clean, bright rooms, with lots of space. They serve a great breakfast, with various pastries, cakes, yoghurts, cheese and ham. Dinner in the restaurant is amazing, pizza by the half metre, great seafood and pasta dishes, as well as steak and a great children's menu. La Smorfia is an 8 minute walk from Castiglioncello village, where there are some lovely shops and a gorgeous castle that has wonderful views and a small cafe. I highly recommend La Smorfia, families, couples and groups of friends will really enjoy staying here.

Camera bella, letto confortevole, ottima posizione (a ridosso di piccole spiagge dove poter fare il bagno e noleggiare ombrelloni, sdraio ecc..da lì si può anche iniziare a camminare lungo tutto il Lungomare fino a Punta Righini. Bellissimo. Il centro del paese è a una 15ina di minuti a piedi). Personale gentilissimo, pulizia discreta (è capitato di trovare un capello in doccia,ma nessuno è perfetto!), camera munita di aria condizionata e TV. Consigliato.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 7 notti durante la settimana di ferragosto. Siamo stati molto bene. Posizione perfetta, 2 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia, 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Castiglioncello. Se si dispone di biciclette, come nel nostro caso, si possono raggiungere le spiagge: Le Forbici in 15 min, Le spiagge bianche in 10-15 min, La baia del Quercetano in 5 min. L'albergo è pulito e accogliente. Abbiamo sempre trovato la nostra camera in ordine e pulita. Il personale è molto gentile, sia del albergo che del ristorante. Il ristorante sotto è un posto ottimo per mangiare sia pizza che pesce. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per l'hotel e il ristorante. Consigliatissimo!
